What to expect during your massage

At Spine & Sports Centre, we understand that trying remedial massage for the first time can be exciting but nerve-wracking. To help put your mind at ease, here's what you can expect during a massage therapy session:

Upon arrival, our friendly reception team will warmly welcome you and guide you through check-in. Before your session begins, your massage therapist will briefly consult with you to discuss your specific concerns, health history, and any preferences you may have.

Our therapy rooms are designed to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. You'll have the opportunity to communicate your comfort level, whether it's adjusting the room temperature, the amount of pressure applied, or any other preferences you may have.

Your privacy and modesty are of utmost importance to us. Your massage therapist will leave the room to give you time to undress to your comfort level. You'll be provided with a towel to drape over yourself. Only the area being worked on will be exposed, ensuring your privacy is respected throughout the session.

The therapist will communicate with you during the session, ensuring the pressure and techniques are comfortable and effective. Remedial Massage therapy promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress levels, and provides a sense of well-being.

After the massage, your therapist will guide post-session care, including stretching exercises, self-care practices, or recommendations for further sessions based on your specific goals. They will be available to address any questions regarding ongoing care and wellness.
